Tonometer with Pump, Cover, Thermometer, and Instructions
is a novel Tonometer, unique in that it is completely transparent and has no moving
parts. The Tonometer permits easy and controlled saturation of fresh water or salt
water with gasses, including air. The electric pump causes the ambient air to bubble
up through the water in the vessel. The gas diffusion plate in the bottom of the
vessel breaks up the flow into bubbles of the correct size to assure proper equilibration.
As an additional feature, other gas mixtures may be substituted for ambient air.
Selecting different concentrations of gas in the mixture allow preparation known
standards of varying values.
